Stamping parts are the production technology of product parts with certain shape, size and performance by means of the power of conventional or special stamping equipment to make the sheet metal directly subject to deformation force and deform in the mold. Sheet metal, mold and equipment are the three elements of stamping processing. Stamping is a kind of metal cold deformation processing method. Therefore, it is called cold stamping or sheet metal stamping, or stamping for short. It is one of the main methods of metal plastic processing (or pressure processing), and also belongs to material forming engineering technology.
Of Universal's steel products, 50% to 60% are made of plates, most of which are finished products after pressing. The car body, radiator sheet, steam drum of steam boiler, shell of container, iron core silicon steel sheet of electric motor and electric appliance are all stamped and processed. There are also a large number of stamping parts in instruments, household appliances, office machines, safekeeping utensils and other products. Stamping is an efficient production measure. Compound die is adopted, and the exception is multi-station progressive die. It can complete multiple stamping technology operations on a press and complete the automatic generation of materials. The production speed is fast, the rest time is long, the production cost is low, and the collective can produce hundreds of pieces per minute, which is popular with many processing plants.
Stamping parts, castings and forgings have the characteristics of thin, uniform, light and strong. Stamping can produce workpieces with reinforcing rib, rib, curl or flanging that are difficult to manufacture with this skilled hand diameter to improve its rigidity. Because the rough die is rejected, the workpiece precision can reach micron level, and the precision is high, the specification is consistent, and the hole nest and boss can be punched. In actual production, process tests similar to the stamping process are often used, such as drawing performance test and bulging performance test, to check the stamping performance of materials, so as to ensure the quality of finished products and high qualification rate.
In addition to forming thick plate with hydraulic press, the stamping equipment usually adopts a viscous press. Focusing on the modern high-speed multi-station stagnation press, setting up the equipment configuration, uncoiling, finished product collection, delivery and other stagnation, as well as the mold library and rapid die change placement, and using the computer French tube bundle, a passive stamping production line with high production rate can be formed. Under the condition of producing dozens or hundreds of stamping parts per minute, the stamping and production processes are completed in a short time, and personal, equipment and quality incidents often occur.
